TFMS 340 - Directing for the Stage

This course will introduce the fundamentals of stage directing through the execution of projects designed to provide a range of experiences in approaching particular problems of stage directing. Students will develop strategies for analyzing scripts in order to make directorial choices that are responsive, legible, and manageable, and they will learn the processes for communicating these choices to actors and designers.

Prerequisite(s): TFMS 230 or consent of the instructor.
