BADM 201 - Principles of Accounting I Credit Hours: 4 Frequency of Offering: Offered annually in the fall semester
Accounting is the language of business. This course introduces the student to that language through study of the basic principles of financial accounting for recording, classifying, summarizing, reporting and interpreting financial data. The accounting cycle is presented using the double-entry system for all three forms of business, including sole proprietorships, partnerships and corporations.
Prerequisite(s): ECON 102 or ECON 103 .
