ENGL 391 - The Word in the World

Credit Hours: 4
This course will offer students the opportunity to study literature, or to hone their craft in creative or expository writing, while also engaging them with a community beyond the college campus. Content and focus will vary from section to section, but might include Cultural Journalism, Books that Cook: Serving Suggestions, or Literature and Literacy. This course, when taken in conjunction with CORE 350, will satisfy the Experiencing the Liberal Arts in the World requirement of the Core Curriculum. This course may be repeated for credit if the topic is not repetitive.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102, CORE 101, or CORE 301.
