Frequency of Offering: Taught according to student demand and staff availability.

An investigation of a specialized area of marine science not normally covered in the marine science curriculum. Topics will be selected by the marine science faculty according to student interest. Students are encouraged to suggest topics for this course. May be repeated for credit if the topic is not repetitive.
