PHYS 473 - Statistical Mechanics

Frequency of Offering: Offered annually in the spring semester

Statistical and microscopic treatment of thermodynamical systems. Topics include probability concepts, heat and temperature, thermal interaction, work, internal energy, entropy, and canonical distribution.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 231. or PHYS 251 .
