POSC 312 - State and Community Politics: Maryland

The study of politics at the subnational levels in the United States. Various types of state and community political systems are examined, and the state of Maryland serves as a resource for specific lessons in budgeting, governing, policies, institutions, and politics. Research in the area of community power structures and the factors that explain such structures will be emphasized.

Course Satisfies: Core Curriculum requirement in Experiencing the Liberal Arts in the World.
Prerequisite(s): POSC 100  or permission of the instructor.
