PSYC 475 - Psychopathology


Credit Hours: 4
An exploration of perspectives on psychological disorders with emphasis on major diagnostic categories and criteria. The course examines individual and sociocultural factors related to the causes and treatment of psychopathology. Students will refine skills in the evaluation and communication of psychological research.

Course Satisfies: “Health & Counseling” Breadth Area.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101  with a grade of C- or better or with permission of the instructor. Not open to students who have received credit for PSYC 375.
