ASTR 155 - Stellar Astronomy and Cosmology with Laboratory Credit Hours: 4 Frequency of Offering: Offered annually in the fall semester
An introduction to modern astronomy of the stars, including its historical development, study of the earth and sun’s place in the universe, characteristics of the stars, stellar birth, evolution and death and the origin and fate of the universe. Students who have previously taken ASTR 151 cannot take ASTR 155. Lecture and lab.
