BIOL 109 - Emerging Scholars Program

The Biology Emerging Scholars Program is designed to help students dive deeper into key topics that are covered in Principles of Biology 1 (BIOL105). Weekly meetings entail interactive workshops that align
with the topic being covered in Principles of Biology 1. Students will work in small groups on problem sets and case studies that challenge them to think critically and collaborate. Emphasis will be placed on group communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills within a supportive community of biology faculty.

Co-requisite(s): BIOL 105 and BIOL 105L
