HIST 205 - History of Britain, 1066-1945 Credit Hours: 4 This course surveys the major themes and developments in the history of England and Great Britain from the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066 to the end of World War II in 1945. It will examine British politics, society, and culture, with special attention to the development of constitutional government, the rise of the British Empire, the Industrial Revolution, and its role in World War I and II. Counts for LEAD Humanities requirement.
