SOCI 330 - Sociology of Organizations Credit Hours: 4 Frequency of Offering: Offered annually in the spring semester
This course surveys complex organizations as a particular form of social interaction. The course covers classical and contemporary theory of organizations, the nature and growth of bureaucracy, the rhetoric and practice of management and leadership, and significant empirical studies of modern organizational life.
Prerequisite(s): SOCI 201 .
