MUSC 236 - Music Technology I

In this course we use the software Logic as a medium to combine rhythm, melody, harmony, articulation, lyrics, sample libraries, effects, and dynamics to varied acoustic and electronic instrumentation. We shall provide a brief overview of fundamental mixing concepts as well. We will also Sibelius as a medium to convey rhythm, melody, harmony, articulation, lyrics, and dynamics to varied instrumentation in the traditional sense of music notation. Upon completion of this class students will have a fundamental overview of music production and music notation.
