Degree Requirements

General

To earn a minor in music, a student must not be a Performing Arts major music or integrated concentrator. A grade of C- or better must be received in each course. Courses taken for credit/no credit may not be used to satisfy requirements in the minor.

MUSC 201 - Sight Singing and Dictation I Credit Hours: 1
MUSC 203 - Music Theory I Credit Hours: 3
MUSC 202 - Sight Singing and Dictation II Credit Hours: 1
MUSC 204 - Music Theory II Credit Hours: 3
MUSA 48- (instrumental or vocal ensemble) (4 semesters, 1 credit each)

MUSA 38- (private instrumental or vocal lessons) (4 semesters, 1 credit each)
